Our community of users are united by a common interest in academic investigation of human sexuality, and come from around the world.

About this website

This site is the product of an ongoing project to develop an international short course in sexuality theory and research methodologies. The project is housed at the Australian Research Centre in Sex, Health and Society (ARCSHS), La Trobe University and is run in partnership with the International Association for the Study of Sexuality Culture and Society (IASSCS). The project and this website have been funded by the Ford Foundation.

ARC International Launches the Activist's Guide to the Yogyakarta Principles

ARC International, an advocacy organisation working on lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and intersex (LGBTI) human rights, has launched a publication named the Activist's Guide to the Yogyakarta Principles, available in English, Spanish and French.

 

The Activist's guide is a toolkit designed to assist activists around the world in drawing upon the Yogyakarta Principles to advance LGBTI rights. In particular, the guide will allow those working in the area of sexual orientation and gender identity to determine how other activists have used the Yogyakarta Principles to further their work.
