The Interdisciplinary Graduate Minor in Sexuality Studies at the Ohio State University focuses on the social, historical, psychological, literary, legal, and political contexts in which human sexualities have been and are currently being expressed and theorized. The minor pays particular attention to the tension between non-normative sexualities and the concept of heterosexuality against which they are typically defined. The National Centre in HIV Social Research offers a postgraduate program in Health, Sexuality and Culture. The program is guided by a social paradigm that understands persons and communities as social beings. Summer Institute

The NSRC Summer Institute at San Francisco State University is a three-week intensive program focused on sexuality. Led by an interdisciplinary team of experts in the field of sexualities, this program provides a unique opportunity for 40-50 scholars, students and professionals to explore contemporary research and practice, develop networks in the field, and apply new knowledge in their work. It draws from the resources of the NSRC and SFSU (its faculty and staff), and its strategic location in the city of San Francisco , California . The Summer Institute emphasizes—but is not limited to—the role of North American cultures and policies in shaping contemporary sexualities. Participants receive 5 academic units through SFSU.

The Kinsey Institute co-sponsors, with the Interdepartmental Graduate Committee on Human Sexuality at Indiana University, a Ph.D. minor in human sexuality.
