The Fundación para Estudio e Investigación de la Mujer (Foundation for the Study and Research of Women) is a non-governmental organisation created in 1989 by a group of professional women who specialise in gender. Its objective is to develop research, studies, programs, projects, courses, and other activities in order to improve the social, work-related, legal, political, economic, and health conditions of women in Argentina. The foundation works on a variety of issues, including sexual and reproductive health, sexuality and HIV/AIDS.
