The African Population and Health Research Center has a number of research programmes related to sexuality issues. It aims to: contribute to Science through high impact research projects and publications; inform policy with research evidence; and strengthen research capacity in sub-Saharan Africa. To achieve its mission and objectives, the Center brings together African scholars to take the lead in developing priority research programs and enhancing use of research findings for policy formulation and program improvement in sub-Saharan Africa. It also conducts an extensive training program aimed at building research capacity.
