The Centre for Interdisciplinary Gender Studies (CIGS) at the University of Leeds is a large research centre in Gender Studies, bringing together over 170 academic staff from Schools across the arts and humanities, social sciences, medicine and healthcare studies. Research on gender and feminist scholarship have a long history at Leeds, and the University is home to many leading international feminist scholars.
