The African Gender Institute (AGI) hosted by the University of Cape Town, South Africa focuses on the theoretical and practical understandings of gender and its importance in the process of social transformation in Africa.
The AGI offers a Graduate Program in Gender and Transformation at the University of Cape Town's Graduate School in Humanities. The Graduate School aims to build capacity for creative and critical engagement with the challenges of transformation at all levels of social and public life. Research Associate-ships are available for ~4 weeks with intensive theory and methodology training.
