The Kinsey Institute co-sponsors, with the Interdepartmental Graduate Committee on Human Sexuality at Indiana University, a Ph.D. minor in human sexuality. The program provides a basic yet broad overview of human sexuality. The behavioural, biological, cultural, and social components of sexuality are examined, including the study of the role of sexuality in the arts and public policy. The Kinsey Institute Graduate Training Institutes provide research training in human sexuality. The summer institutes are part of a Kinsey Institute/Indiana University initiative to fill the widening gap in graduate training in human sexuality.
