The Institute for Advanced Study of Human Sexuality in San Francisco offers five graduate degree programs in human sexuality. These programs are designed specifically for persons who intend to make the field of human sexuality a major focus of their professional careers. Certificate courses are offered in Sex Education, Clinical Sexology, AIDS/STI Prevention, and Erotology. These interrelated certificate courses are designed to furnish professionals in disciplines other than sexology with in-depth knowledge and skills necessary for working effectively with the wide range of sexual questions and problems that arise during the ordinary course of treatment or work.
