An eight-day conceptual course that seeks to understand the implications of current debates on sexuality issues and the links between sexuality and culture and society in an Asian regional context. The goals of the Institute are to develop a deeper and more coherent theoretical understanding of sexuality and its connections with other issues, including gender and rights, and to examine assumptions on which practitioners base their work within a South and Southeast Asian context. The Institute is organised annually and brings together 20 individuals working on issues of sexuality, gender and reproductive health.
